She was the widow of Rowland V Lee, the veteran film director whom she married in 1924.
Born in New York, she and her family came to California in 1913. She lived in Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Palm Desert before moving to Santa Barbara in 1989.
She was an interior designer of distinction and was admired for her exceptional taste and ability to avoid a "decorated Look".
The intimate friends who predeceased her had families who have stayed in touch. She cherished their friendships.
At her request, no services will be held. Private Inurnment will be at Forest Lawn, Glendale. For those wishing to make a memorial contribution, she hoped they would make it to the Hemophilic Foundation of Oregon, 5219 SW Westgate Dr, #126, Portland, Oregon 97221.
