Welcome to my home page

As a technologist: I enjoy being an early adopter and promoting/training appropriate uses of technology as a tool.

As a librarian and information professional, I have seen great changes & improvements in the delivery of customer services, with technology and communications as the great enablers. While my career started in public libraries, I have spent more than the past twenty years as an academic business librarian and Internet consultant.

As a genealogist, I am looking to extend my family history search and help others in their journey.

In my spare time, I work on websites for several nonprofits and am newsletter editor of the Quail Runner for my local condominium association.

For fun, I enjoy my family & friends, hobbies like knitting, family genealogy, social networking, and warm climates, especially biking and shelling in Sanibel, Florida.
